PHASE 1: FOUNDATIONS & LAUNCH STRATEGY

Objective: Establish BIOS Studios as the media engine of BIOS Homes, with immediate visibility and impact.

A. Identity & Branding

  • Finalize logo, visual identity, tagline, and brand guide

  • Register trademarks and social handles (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn)

  • Design branded assets for intros, lower thirds, and credits

B. Mission-Driven Media Charter

  • Write and publish the BIOS Studios Charter:

    • Purpose, principles, social mission

    • Educational integration

    • Diversity and inclusion statement

    • Local impact commitment

C. Studio Setup & Workflow

  • Launch temporary home studio (office, trade school, or converted room)

  • Set up initial gear: DSLR/mirrorless camera kits, shotgun & lavalier mics, LED light panels, mobile editing station

  • Adopt post-production workflow tools:

    • Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects)

    • Frame.io or DaVinci Resolve for review + grading

    • Google Drive or Frame.io for file sharing

PHASE 2: CONTENT PRODUCTION BEGINS

PHASE 3: EDUCATION & TALENT PIPELINE INTEGRATION

Objective: Build hands-on learning into every frame

A. Partner with BIOS Trade School

  • Students shadow film crews on real shoots

  • Offer certifications in:

    • Video production, lighting, post-production

    • Animation & visual effects

    • Documentary filmmaking

    • Journalism for social good

B. Internships & Apprenticeships

  • Launch media apprenticeship program for CT youth

  • Partner with:

    • Connecticut high schools

    • Editing suites

    • Green screen / Virtual Production Room

    • Student classroom & lounge
