Director of Project Management

Position Overview

As Director of Project Management, Kayla Herrick will oversee the successful execution of real estate, modular home, restoration, and insurance-related projects. She will work directly with leadership, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that every project — large or small — meets the company’s standards for quality, efficiency, client satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

This role lays the foundation for future leadership opportunities as the company grows. As project volume increases, Kayla’s position is designed to evolve into a senior operations or division head role.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination: Manage project timelines, schedules, and deliverables for modular builds, property management, restoration jobs, and real estate support services.
Estimating and Insurance Support: Produce accurate Xactimate estimates for insurance restoration projects and work closely with vendors and insurance carriers.
Vendor Management: Oversee subcontractors, monitor performance, enforce safety and compliance protocols (OSHA 30 standards).
Client Communication: Serve as the key point of contact for clients during project execution, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction.
Standardization: Develop and refine SOPs for project delivery across all active divisions (Brokerage, BIOS Homes, Restoration, Property Management).
Technology and Reporting: Utilize CompanyCam, CRM systems, Xactimate, and ERP tools to track progress, control documentation, and report key performance metrics.
Strategic Growth Projects: Assist leadership with identifying new service opportunities (e.g., expanded restoration services, insurance partnerships, property management contracts).

Review and document current operational workflows across divisions.
Implement project tracking tools (CompanyCam, CRM, shared dashboards).
Assist with active insurance, restoration, or modular home projects as needed.
Establish baseline project reporting metrics for leadership review.
