Task at Hand: Build the BIOS-certified contractor network in Connecticut as a scalable model — then expand it nationally and globally.
🔨 Phase 1: Build the Team – Connecticut First
Patrick’s immediate priority is to recruit, vet, and onboard BIOS’ Connecticut-based contractor network across all trades — plumbing, electrical, HVAC, framing, siding, finish, etc.
Key Deliverables in Phase 1:
-
Launch and maintain a BIOS Certified Contractor Program
-
Create contractor intake forms, onboarding playbooks, and SOPs
-
Establish field quality standards, accountability metrics, and pricing benchmarks
-
Coordinate with Scott and Steve on field rollout, including walk-throughs, scopes, and QA
🌍 Phase 2: Scale the Network – National → International
Once the CT network is up and running, Patrick’s next mission is to replicate that system across U.S. regions (New England → Tri-State → Mid-Atlantic, etc.) and then adapt it for international partners through BIOS’ global factory and housing partnerships.
Key Deliverables in Phase 2:
-
Regional onboarding toolkits (adjusted for licensing/regulatory differences)
-
Internal dashboards tracking subcontractor KPIs, project timelines, and region-specific cost data
-
Collaboration with factories worldwide to identify certified field installers in those markets
-
Field service playbooks translated and localized for BIOS international licensees/franchisees
📈 Does Patrick Build the Team and Then Manage It?
Yes — that’s the whole plan.
Patrick builds the team first in CT, defines the systems and standards as a repeatable framework, and then manages that growing network as BIOS expands into new geographies.
Over time, his role can evolve into:
-
VP of Global Field Services
-
Chief Contractor Experience Officer
-
Or Head of Field Operations – BIOS International

Patrick McCaffrey – Director of Contractor Relations & Field Services
Patrick is spearheading BIOS Homes’ contractor network, starting with Connecticut and scaling globally. After managing 300+ vendors nationwide in a prior role, he now brings that same rigor, heart, and hands-on leadership to BIOS. His job is to build a world-class team of contractors — not just to get homes built, but to create a field system that’s ethical, efficient, and scalable across countries and cultures. In short, Patrick builds the team, then builds the team that builds the world.
